My Mommy & Daddy Are Ranchers

Wrenn believes in the power of stories. She shares her family’s story of raising beef, kids, and cows on social media. She can be found on Instagram @cookingwithcowboy. The idea of writing a children’s book told through the eyes of her oldest son, Leo, came to her one day while she was feeding cows with him. The ever-so-talented illustrator Abra Shirley made her story come to life. Over the last four years since the book was released, Wrenn has shared copies of her book with local kindergartens with the support of the Wabaunsee County Farm Bureau and sold copies in local shops. Don’t worry, parents; the book is short and sweet. It is an easy read at bedtime!
