Grilled Meatball Flatbreads

We have been cooking the BEST grilled meatball and paring it with our favorite NAAN breads for quite some time. Ground beef meatballs flavored with spices, lemon, arugula salad and ricotta cheese make the most memorable flavor combination!

History of Our Grilled Meatball Flatbread

Years ago, before social media and even food blogging began, we use to spend our Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee, magazines and the Food Network. Oh yes, this was before kids and cows too…Oh, a much simpler time!

So, during those slow Saturday mornings, we came across a Rachel Ray Recipe that called for ground lamb and grapes with arugula, and ricotta cheese. Now don’t get me wrong we love lamb and grapes, but the pairing was just not our favorite, however, we did love the idea of the flatbread with the ricotta and augural.
