Steak Greek Salad

Ingredients
  

Dressing (I usually eyeball these ingredients, but here is the recipe that I found from Taste of Home that I use for reference) 

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grainy mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano I also use fresh when I have it

Salad

  • Mixed Salad Greens
  • Red Onion
  • Feta Cheese
  • Olives

Steak

  • Grill Seasoning
  • Flat Iron

Instructions
 

Dressing

  • In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine all ingredients; shake well.

Salad

  • Place mixed greens in a bowl and toss with the dressing. Then add the red onion feta cheese and Olives. 

Steak

  • Season steak with grill seasoning. Add to a preheated cast iron skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes and then flip and cook for additional 3-5 minutes.  Let rest for an additional 5 minutes, then once the steak has rested slice.
  • Add the dressed salad to a plate and top with the sliced steak. We also love a good NAAN bread to go with this salad!  Enjoy!
